Jay Hayden and his State Of Emergency little buddy shoot plenty of zombie loads together in the latest clips from Image Entertainment's zombie horror movie. The Walking Dead wraps up this season tonight so at least there's some cool zombie fill-ins for us in the meantime.
Like the vampire trend, zombies are showing up everywhere thanks to the brilliant Walking Dead show. You know when zombies are featured in several commercials (even State Farm Insurance has one) the trend will soon be killed. State Of Emergency looks promising though from the trailer and the clip below. Jay Hayden does his smoldering look wearing form fitting shirts while sweating so the shirt sticks to him just so as he unloads all over zombies looking to take a bite out of him. It’s a simple plot where an explosion leaks out from a military bio-weapons plant and turns people into zombies and a few lucky ones are just out of reach are they are in such superior shape that they are unaffected. They band together to fight the mutants and the military which naturally always wants to keep these things hush hush.
The two new clips below show one woman who's trying to get Jay Hayden to let her in, but it looks like his little male buddy in the film would have a much easier letting ole Jay in than this lady will. The other shows where Hayden and his little buddy tag team each other for some multiple zombie load release.
[callout title=State Of Emergency Movie Synopsis]After an explosion unleashes the contents of a military bio-weapons plant, the unsuspecting populace is transformed into a roaming army of flesh-eating zombies. Trapped in the quarantine zone, Jim finds himself cut off, confused and fighting for his own survival. Contacted by a small band of others unaffected by the toxins, Jim sets out to reach their besieged warehouse. Becoming the survival group's de-facto leader, he struggles to keep order as they hunker down, fortify their stronghold and arm themselves against the attacking mutants. Fragmentary radio reports from outside hint at a last-ditch government rescue plan.
Special features include two behind-the-scenes featurettes on the making of the movie and its visual effects, and deleted scenes.
