This little trailer for Danny Trejo's 'Bad Ass' movie has got many people sleuthing to find out if this is a hoax since IMDB has the release date for April 2012 or another 'Hobo With A Shotgun'. Check it out and you decide.
So just a quick perusal on IMDB (even though we all know, they're quite known to have some big ole inaccuracies, on of the production companies for 'Bad Ass' are Amber Lights, which when you click further shows to be a 'character in the movie. This would definitely make you wonder if something was up, but out little staff did a quick perusal and found this below where they are listed as having a street permit for filming the Danny Trejo starrer. If you check out Amazon, there was another straight to dvd film with Tom Sizemore called 'Bad Ass' from 2010 so all of these things are keeping people wondering if this is just the actors having fun for an April Fool's Day gotcha.
I've had some post work done over at Anarchy Post (also listed on IMDB) so a quick call over there confirmed that yes, 'Bad Ass' is indeed a real film with Danny Trejo. When you're watching this you keep expecting the tagline to say 'They picked the wrong day to fuck with this bus rider' or something. It definitely reminded me so much of 'Hobo With A Shotgun', I thought it was the same producers, but I'm sure the similarities will get their attention.

Starring: Danny Trejo, Charles S. Dutton and Ron Perlman
Release Date: April 2012[/callout]
The video below the teaser trailer is the one that seems to have inspired the movie where an older white guy just has enough of getting yelled at and takes his own brand of justice and making his tormentor literally cry. The difference in the two are that ethnicities have been swapped out plus you can tell that the old guy in the video seemed to have the curmudgeon thing going on while Danny Trejo is more likable.
